The African diaspora in Finland is multifaceted, and Africa is a vast continent. It would be irresponsible to group all Africans under one story. Think Africa is continuously using it’s mandate to encourage questions and conversations surrounding our broader identity without assuming that we have similar stories. We persistently cultivate these healthy interactions on subjects that bridge our divides such as language, race, gender, food and so much more.
During 2021, Think Africa Week we will be exploring our identities in various panel discussions as a gateway to harmonious coexistence with our host nation Finland.
