At Think Africa Lounge, there is something for everyone. Whether you are interested in the benefits of essential oils or want to present a topic on quantum physics, this is the space for you. Discussions are driven by active participation on a variety of topics that develop organically from a presentation or open debate. The moderator, in consultation with attendees, selects a topic and announces it before the next meet up. Think Africa Lounge is a bi-weekly meetup open to Think Africa members and non-members. Selected presentations are streamed live on Facebook.

Aims:
- Provide a free and easy way for everyone to be a part of the Think Africa community from anywhere in Finland and beyond;
- Make Think Africa Lounge Finland’s African Diaspora storytelling platform where immigrants can learn how to navigate life in Finland first-hand;
- A meet-up spot for African immigrants with similar ideals and goals to connect;
- Collaborate with different African associations in Finland by giving them a ‘seat’ at the lounge;
- Foster personal growth and sense of belonging through participation in our variety of discussion topics;
- Keep the community up to date on upcoming events and opportunities in Think Africa;
- To keep Think Africa’s mission of engaging, promoting, and empowering people alive!
